Chair (speaker introducing the meeting) opened the regular select board meeting, noted it was moved up due to the primary election tomorrow, named three select board members in attendance (Joe DiNardo, Mary Ashcroft, Sharon Russell) and led the Pledge of Allegiance.
Rutland Town Select Board met August 12, 2024, for a regular meeting (held early because of the primary). Board business included routine committee reports, several administrative approvals (including rescinding a sewer maintenance MOU and contracting the regional planning commission for hazard-mitigation updates), a motion offering an old pickup truck to firefighters, a new de minimis tax-abatement policy, and a closed executive session for legal and personnel matters.
