5. Sub-region B Representative Election: The Cape Cod Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) will accept nominations and vote to establish a slate of candidates for the vacant Sub-region B (Towns of Yarmouth and Dennis) Representative seat to the MPO for the term beginning the date of election through December 31, 2026. The MPO will hold its sub-regional election at its meeting on March 24, 2025.
6. Election of Vice Chair:Cape Cod Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) members will nominate and vote to elect a vice-chair of the MPO.
7. Federal Fiscal Years (October 1 – September 30) 2025-2029 Transportation Improvement Program (“TIP”) Amendment # 3: Staff will review, and Committee members will consider public comments on and may vote to endorse, draft Amendment # 3 to the TIP which would add a local Safe Streets for All planning grant to the TIP for analysis of high-crash locations in the Town of Barnstable, MA.
8. Federal Fiscal Years (October 1– September 30) 2026-2030 Transportation Improvement Program (“TIP”) Development: Staff will review, and Committee members may discuss, draft TIP project evaluation scoring and the status and readiness of current and future TIP-eligible projects. The TIP summarizes the regionally significant transportation infrastructure projects receiving federal funding for construction over the next five years.
9. Federal Fiscal Year (October 1 – September 30) 2026 Unified Planning Work Program (“UPWP”) Development: Staffwill provide an update on the development of the 2026 UPWP, a program which summarizes all significant transportation activities planned for the fiscal year on Cape Cod. Members may ask questions and suggest potential tasks and studies for inclusion in the 2026 UPWP.
10. Reports: MassDOT staff will discuss the status of the Transportation Improvement Program projects. Cape Cod Regional Transit Authority and Cape Cod Commission staff will report on recent and upcoming transportation initiatives across Cape Cod.
11. New Business: Topics not reasonably anticipated by the Chair more than 48 hours before the meeting.
