Gardner City Council enacted a rezoning ordinance for a proposed medical-office development, approved a multi-year technology and equipment agreement covering Axon body cameras, tasers and related systems, discussed funding and next steps for repairs to Gardner Lake spillway (including a proposed land sale to cover the city’s share), and heard that the Gardner Animal Hospital will not renew the city’s animal-control contract, leaving the city seeking alternatives before Jan. 1.
