Fayetteville City Audit Committee met to approve minutes and the agenda, hear an internal audit update from Aaron (lead internal auditor) covering retirement-plan results, surplus property auctions (GovDeals) and documentation gaps, small-grant and inventory reviews, and next years audit plan; members also discussed water-pipe failures, an $85,000,000 transmission project, and budget pressures affecting staffing. The committee moved and approved routine items and adjourned at the end of the meeting.
