At a December Batesburg-Leesville town council meeting, councilors held two public hearings, approved ordinances including an annexation and county animal-control changes, authorized purchase of a surplus ladder truck, accepted a JAG grant for a domestic-violence/child-abuse investigator, heard a wastewater plant recognition and other town reports, and moved into executive session on personnel and property matters.
