Pike County Fiscal Court met on Dec. 18, 2024. The court adopted an updated solid waste ordinance, discussed procedures to allow private landfill petitions and the financial trade-offs of expanding the county landfill, considered contracts and grants (including ambulance grant awards), approved routine spending and appointments, and spent extensive time on stray/wild horse removal and possible cooperation with a humane society.
