At its May 12, 2025 regular meeting, the Kennett Consolidated School District Board of School Directors conducted routine business, approved several policy updates and contracts, and received progress updates on construction and curriculum work. The board adopted revised student-conduct policies including Policy 2-27 (Controlled Substances) and new Policy 2-33 (Suspension and Expulsion), approved district bids for a district office expansion and renovation, accepted textbook adoptions and a professional development agreement for structured literacy, and approved personnel actions including retirements. The superintendent highlighted awards, strategic-plan work and program highlights; facilities staff reported that New Garden and Greenwood construction projects remain on schedule.
