Day 45 of the 2022 Utah Legislature: the Senate opened with prayer and the Pledge, established a quorum, and spent the session taking up and passing a large set of bills across education, health, water, tax and tourism policy. Two extended debates focused on a school library 'sensitive materials' bill and a hotel-led convention assessment measure, both of which passed and will return to the House for further consideration.
