The Utah Senate convened Feb. 16, 1994, conducted roll call and committee reports, passed multiple bills on a range of issues (tax credits, education pilot programs, public safety and health measures), heard a floor presentation from Congresswoman Karen Shepherd on the federal budget and transportation authorization, and held extensive debate and amendments on a comprehensive health-care reform bill (substitute SB 158).
