The Utah House met Feb. 23, 2006, opening with prayer and pledge, considered multiple bills on the consent and third-reading calendars (notably bills on outdoor advertising, point-of-sale access for the visually impaired, veterans services, surplus school lands and state employee health options), heard a floor address from U.S. Sen. Orrin Hatch, and paid tribute to families of recently fallen service members.
