On April 28, 2025, the Dubuque City Council held a public hearing to adopt the Fiscal Year (FY) 2026 budget, fees and service rates, and five-year street construction program for the City of Dubuque. The Dubuque City Council held a series of public meetings as part of the process to create the City of Dubuque’s budget for FY2026, which runs from July 1, 2025, through June 30, 2026. During these meetings, staff from each department and division presented FY2026 budget information to the city council, and public input was accepted.
