Riverhead Central School District board met Dec. 12, 2024. The board recognized student-athletes, received a detailed guidance-department presentation, discussed proposed changes to the Regents-exam weighting and formation of a committee, and approved a series of memoranda of agreement, policy revisions, contracts, donations and a field trip; multiple support-staff speakers urged the board to resolve an expired contract and address low wages for bus drivers and support staff.
