The San Francisco Board of Supervisors Rules Committee held a June 2 meeting to consider appointments to several city commissions and to discuss a charter amendment proposed by Supervisor Scott Wiener; the committee advanced four commission appointment recommendations (including one contested police commission nomination) to the full board and adopted amendments to Wiener's charter proposal and continued it for further review.
