Chair Aaron Peskin called the meeting to order, noted temporary seating (Supervisor Katie Tang sitting in for Vice Chair Norman Yee), introduced Board President London Breed as expected to join, and asked clerk Derek Evans for announcements about speaker cards and how items acted on today will appear on the Nov. 29 Board of Supervisors agenda.
The Government Audit and Oversight Committee heard a series of items Nov. 17, 2016, including a policy hearing on accelerating the citys municipal electric vehicle procurement, an extended inquiry into the Millennium Tower (301 Mission) peer review and settlement/utility impacts, a Mills Act historical-contract recommendation for 361 Oak Street, and a request to add the Department of Technology to the Budget & Legislative Analyst audit plan. Several consent items were forwarded to the full Board without objection.
