The Government Audit and Oversight Committee of the San Francisco Board of Supervisors held a hearing on Feb. 16, 2023 to review an August 2022 citywide nonprofit performance audit and the controllers nonprofit monitoring and capacity-building program. Supervisors and controller staff discussed monitoring standards, 5006 thresholds, red-flag designations and capacity-building supports; the committee voted to file the hearing.
