San Francisco Planning Commission held a long regular hearing on Oct. 2, 2014, taking public comment on Candlestick demolition plans and multiple development and zoning matters, approving several major development projects (including the Pine Street and 490 South Van Ness proposals) and narrowly approving a conditional-use permit for an AT&T wireless site at 1098 Jackson Street (4–3). The commission also discussed the citys office-cap (Prop M) allocation program and advanced code amendments to protect PDR space in landmark buildings.
