San Francisco Planning Commission held its December 19, 2019 hearing. The commission adopted Japantown special area design guidelines, approved several conditional use and design matters (including a First Republic public cafe and a cannabis retailer with an on-site consumption lounge), approved a small number of residential projects with conditions, and handled multiple continuances and enforcement matters.
