The San Francisco Board of Education voted to authorize staff to begin a CEQA review of options to remove the Victor Arnautoff mural at George Washington High School from student view; an amendment to expand options including relocation failed. The meeting included extended public comment both for and against the mural and separate public input about school transportation and vendor contracts.
