The San Francisco Fire Commission unanimously adopted Fire Department Administrative Bulletin AB 5.12, which allows UL testing to be used in some cases to reduce the required separation distance for residential energy storage systems; commissioners also reviewed the Fire Departments operating budget and discussed citywide deficit-driven reduction targets. There was no final vote on the budget at this meeting.
