The commission heard public comments about residential battery storage permitting, received department reports on recent events and a canceled tsunami warning, reviewed budget guidance calling for a roughly 15% reduction across city departments, approved two FEMA grant resolutions, heard a presentation and change-of-command for the Fire Reserves, and voted to go into closed session.
