At its Feb. 17, 2016 hearing, the San Francisco Historic Preservation Commission heard public comment on facadism and cultural heritage districts, received a Planning Department recommendation to initiate landmark designation for the former Alameda Emergency Hospital and Health Center at 34–45 Onondaga Ave, and voted unanimously to initiate that landmark nomination (amended to note skylight relationships).
