The San Francisco Police Commission met Aug. 26, 2009, heard public comment on patrols, limousine enforcement and alleged political interference by an officer, received reports from the chief and the Office of Citizen Complaints, discussed department bulletins/unit orders and department general orders (DGOs), and unanimously adopted a resolution urging the Board of Supervisors and mayor to authorize limited lateral hiring to command staff.
