San Francisco Public Utilities Commission held a workshop-style meeting focused on the Sewer System Improvement Program (SSIP) validation, received extensive public comment from Bayview Hunters Point residents about persistent sewer/stench problems and digesters, approved consent-calendar contracts and several routine items, and authorized a list of general manager candidates to be transmitted to the mayor following a closed session.
