The Quorum Court of Van Buren County, Arkansas met to approve two budget ordinances: a $636.37 appropriation to reimburse the deputy prosecutor's office from hot-check fees and a $219,175.25 transfer from the general reserve to the 9-1-1 budget. The court also suspended rules to expedite routine transfers and discussed a targeted Jan. 30 move-in for the new 9-1-1 facility.
