Mayor (identified later in the meeting as John Park) called the June 17, 2025 regular meeting to order and requested a short moment of silence.
At its June 17, 2025 meeting, the Brookhaven City Council heard a public hearing on a Kiddie Academy variance application for 2614 Apple Valley Road, where neighbors raised traffic, stormwater and soil contamination concerns; the council deferred the variance to the August meeting. The council also approved several budget amendments, millage rates and resolutions including a task order for stormwater repairs and authorization to pursue eminent domain for a multiuse path parcel.
