The House Agriculture Committee held executive action on House Bill 119, which would create the Montana Cattle Committee, adopt a cattle assessment and referendum process for cattle sellers, and create a special revenue account; the committee adopted two amendments (one after sequestering a conflicting section) and passed the bill out of committee 10–7.
