The City of Kearney Park and Tree Board met Aug. 20, 2024. Members heard park operations updates including a report that crews collected 838 bags of trash in the first fiscal quarter, approved routine agenda items, reviewed playground surfacing and safety repairs, learned that the parks department will manage Fairview Cemetery with a new part-time sexton, and heard event attendance metrics from a cellphone-geofencing tool.
