Broomfield City Council met for its regular meeting; the council heard a presentation from Adams 12 Five Star Schools on a proposed $39.42 million-per-year mill-levy override, approved several ordinances (including business investment and trash-hauler licensing changes) and rejected the Trails at Westlake residential development after a lengthy public hearing and 9–1 vote. The council also approved updates to the city ADU code on second reading.
