At its Sept. 22, 2025 regular meeting, the Steamboat Springs School Board heard reports and adopted a revised board policy (GP‑19). The board spent extended time on a staff housing proposal for 22 units on the Sleeping Giant parcel, debating whether to retain the units as rentals or sell some to help finance construction and directing staff to pursue further study and stakeholder input.
