The House Business and Labor Committee met in executive action to consider four Senate bills: SB 345 (workers' comp evidentiary standards), SB 394 (workers' comp coverage for PTSD for first responders), SB 405 (one-time $50,000,000 transfer to the Housing Montana Fund), and SB 553 (airline travel credit rules and related amendments). The committee concurred in SB 345, SB 394 and SB 553 (as amended), rejected SB 405 on a roll call and subsequently tabled it; several amendments to SB 553 (including removal of a proposed $1 airline fee and protections for kratom tea houses) were approved.
