The Evansville City Animal Control and Education Commission held a special hearing after finding probable cause in a complaint that a child was injured on Nov. 30, 2024. The complainant requested the dog be euthanized; the owner agreed to surrender the animal and arranged for euthanasia at an outside veterinarian where he may be present; the commission adjourned after confirming arrangements.
