The College Place City Council met Sept. 9, 2025. The council approved updates to committee assignments, adopted an update to the police department fee resolution (Res. 25-051), awarded a construction contract for final-phase Rose Street pedestrian lighting to Moreno & Castillo Construction with a 25% contingency, awarded a professional services contract to David Evans & Associates for the West Whitman multi-use path (design and right-of-way) and approved a five-year lease renewal with Axon for body-worn cameras and Tasers. Council discussed public-records access for camera footage, a forthcoming special meeting to review city administrator candidates and a request to study a future council stipend increase.
