More than 350 student leaders from every secondary school in Davis School District came together at the new Western Sports Park in Farmington for the 2025 Multicultural Advisory Council (MAC) Conference. Keynote speaker Yahosh Bonner inspired students with stories about honoring the sacrifices of their ancestors, embracing moments of ignorance as opportunities to teach and building a culture of respect and inclusion. Throughout the day, student leaders collaborated with their principals to discuss priorities they want to achieve in their schools—expanding the reach of MAC, strengthening cultural understanding and creating opportunities for every student to feel seen and valued. Davis School District is proud to support the MAC program, where diverse student voices work alongside principals and administrators to create welcoming schools where every student feels a sense of belonging.
