The Waukesha Transit Commission met on Thursday, Oct. 9 to open a public hearing on proposed service reductions across multiple routes (including a roughly 16% cut to Route 1), approve minutes and two action items: sending the proposed service changes forward for review and awarding a midlife engine-rehab bid to Cummins. The board also announced an independent study of Waukesha Metro’s management structure and then adjourned.
