Chair Gary Arrington opened the Oct. 8, 2025 commission meeting and read attendance, naming commissioners Bart Cox, Bill Delos and Tyler Jeffs and noting county Commissioner Jordan Leonard, Planning & Zoning Administrator Jim Jennings and staff member Natalie Olsen were present; Bruce Wilson arrived later. Chair called the meeting to order.
The Emery County Planning and Zoning Commission met Oct. 8, 2025, to approve routine minutes and a minor subdivision and to review an updated county general plan. Commissioners spent the bulk of the meeting discussing how the general plan should address solar and other energy projects — including acreage limits, setbacks, and tax implications — and were reminded an initial round of comments is due Oct. 16. The session adjourned after a brief motion to close.
