COMMUNITY SPOTLIGHT:
The Farmers Market continues on Balsam Street every Wednesday from 5โ8 PM through October. Starting in November The City will no longer host a farmers market, KTS Farmers Market will take over Saturday mornings at the Tractor Supply parking lot. Stay tuned for more great events coming to Balsam!

RPD UPDATES:
Congratulations to Marty Dorrell on his promotion to Reserve Sergeant!
On Sept. 16, RPD swiftly arrested a suspect after a shooting on N. Gold Canyon Dr., aided by the FLOCK Safety system.
Officers also recovered a stolen vehicle, arresting two suspects and seizing stolen credit cards and narcotics.
PUBLIC WORKS:
Crews applied slurry seal on W. Langley Ave and James St., replaced a damaged flashing stop sign, and reopened the 600 block of Norma Street to through traffic. Thanks, team!
CITY COUNCIL:
Council recognized RPD officers who competed in the World Police and Fire Games in Alabama โ and celebrated the retirements of Lou Arnold and MaryLise Trowsdale for their volunteer service with PACT.
