Thank you to all of the Trojan families who came out to this year's Open House! It was such a great night! The event took place Thursday, Sept. 4, and the hallways were packed with enthusiastic members of Trojan Nation!
After entering the building with their family members, students picked up their "passports," which they presented when they found their teacher, their locker, the principal or an assistant principal, a specials teacher, the media center, the gym, the lunchroom and the main office. The students got their passports stamped at each stop, while their parents/guardians got a chance to meet and talk with faculty and staff. The passports were keeping with the school's theme for 2025-26, "Packing for Success."
For this video, we tagged along with the Perino family: parents Courtney and Joe, and daughters Dakota, a kindergartener; Elaina, a 2nd grader; and Brenna, a 4th grader. (Oldest daughter Averill is a 6th grader at Elm Middle School.) Thank you to the Perinos for letting us record them as they made the rounds, giving us a glimpse inside one family's experience with open house. Go Trojans! #JMTrojanPride #EP401Pride
