Troup County Board of Commissioners met Sept. 2, 2025. The board approved a $700,000 LWCF grant match for a playground at the Whitesville Road Soccer Complex, authorized steps on a Tatum School property agreement for a prototype fire station and bus easement, approved several equipment purchases and a courtroom AV sole-source quote, advanced design/RFP work for an animal control facility, tabled an inmate food-service contract for further review, and held public hearings that approved a beer-and-wine license and two manufactured-home applications (one prompting extended resident comment).
