Year-end FY2025 BvA discussion and possible recommendation of: How come numbers allocated have been changed? Why was money moved? Is this done every year? What is the policy for department transfers? Also review of July, August and September, and October, 2025 BvA (if October 2025 BvA available).
8.) Discussion and possible recommendations to the Select Board concerning creation of a preferred vendor list for purchasing. Follow up of a previous motion to create a draft letter to go to the Select Board to create a preferred vendor list for purchasing.
9.) Discussion and possible recommendation to the Select Board concerning use of the Town credit card.
10.) Status of asset register by department.
11.) Discussion and possible recommendation concerning return to a detailed line-item budget.
New Business
12.) Welcome and introduction of the new Town Administrator James Ryan.
13.) Discussion with Mr. Ryan and Richard Curtis Emergency Management Director and Robert Szocik of the Department of Public Services and possible recommendations concerning signage invoice and budget and capital needs of both departments and any other budget items related to both departments.
14.) Discussion with Mr. Ryan and possible recommendations concerning: Advisory questions about BvA’s –procedure, preferred vendor list, town credit card use, purchase and storage of office supplies transfers between town departments.
15.) Discussion and possible recommendation concerning the Affordable Housing Act sale of 5 acres of land in Templeton and 5 acres of land in Phillipston of Fernald school state property.
16.) Discussion and possible vote with Mr. Ryan and Select Board Chairperson Jeffrey Bennett about possible request from Advisory emergency reserve fund to purchase police bulletproof vests or make recommendations in relation thereto and any other items related to the police department budget.
