The Unified Water Infrastructure Plan (UWIP) is being created as a comprehensive prioritized list of water infrastructure projects that will potentially need financial assistance through state funds. The plan will improve coordination between water funding agencies and simplify the process for entities that are seeking funding for water infrastructure projects. In accordance with Utah Code 73-10g-603, the Water Development Coordinating Council (WDCC) is directed to “shall seek and consider public comment related to developing the written prioritization process by holding public meetings at locations throughout the state”.

The meetings will cover the UWIP prioritization process which is broken into 3 phases: provisional scoring, agency ranking and WDCC funding prioritization. The meetings will include a question and answer session where the public can submit questions to be discussed. All questions will be posted with answers following the last meeting.
