The Orinda Planning Commission held a study session on Sept. 24, 2025, to review draft citywide objective design standards intended to implement the housing element and enable streamlined, predictable review of eligible housing projects. Commissioners discussed preserving Orinda's semi-rural character, fire-safety constraints, landscaping, massing and facade articulation; no formal action was taken.
