The Stephens County Planning Commission met Oct. 7, 2025, and heard eight public‑hearing agenda items. The commission approved seven variances and rezoning/lot splits recommended by staff and tabled a major rezoning to Planned Unit Development (PUD) for a mixed‑use project along Memorial Drive after residents raised traffic, density and floodplain concerns and commissioners asked for a traffic study and DRI review.
