At its August work session, the Washington Township Board of Education debated personnel cuts and contract/policy changes, rejected a proposal to eliminate the director of human resources, approved a second-reading policy change about board legal representation, restored benefits and status for nine senior support staff via a sidebar agreement, and moved into executive session over ongoing negotiations with the WTEA.
