Radford City Council met in August to amend its agenda, recognize longtime staff and community leaders, appoint an interim city clerk, adopt several appropriation ordinances and a 33% personal-property tax relief rate, and approve participation in multiple opioid-related settlement plans; council also heard a citizen petition about morning access to the recreation center and received updates on City Manager transition and the Radford Community Fest.
