Clarke County School District board met in September for a work session and regular meeting. The board approved a contract with GSBA to conduct a superintendent search, discussed numerous policy revisions (notably facility naming and staff involvement), reviewed facilities/SPLOST updates including solar panels and two electric buses, and sent the staff-involvement policy back to staff for revision after a heated exchange.
