St. Marys City Council meeting that opened with prayer and the pledge, heard public comments asking the council to support a veterans’ petition to recover the remains of Gene Alton Dennis and a resident’s plea to require helmets for motorized e-bikes/scooters, scheduled committee meetings to review rates and sidewalks, and reviewed several ordinances and a budget resolution for further reading.
