The Santa Rosa County School Board met Oct. 9, 2025. The board approved personnel appointments and routine administrative items, authorized a surplus property sale contingent on easement language, approved multiple construction change orders and final payments, approved a revised employee benefits renewal package that uses district reserves to soften premium impacts and increases HSA/HSA-like contributions, received a positive state safety-compliance report and temporarily assigned a safety specialist, and approved multiple contracts, MOUs and monthly financial statements. Public comment included praise for district leadership and a call for firmer disciplinary action after alleged staff misconduct.
