At its Oct. 27, 2025 Rules Committee meeting, the City of Evanston approved remote participation for two members and appointed Council member Rogers to chair the Finance and Budget Committee through December 2026. Both procedural actions were approved unanimously. The meeting lasted roughly four minutes and included a full roll call and formal votes.
