The Arlington School Board heard a presentation from Arlington High School students in the sports medicine class on emergency action plans (EAPs); approved the meeting agenda, minutes and consent agenda; received a report of a small donation approved by the superintendent; heard the superintendent's report and several scholarship thank-you notes; received a legislative update; and heard student-adviser reports raising concerns about energy-drink consumption, cell-phone policy, bus timing and a neighboring rented program affecting daily supervision. The board recessed into an executive session to review an employee performance and reconvened only to adjourn.
