The City of Tulsa Board of Adjustment (meeting 1371) met October 28, 2025, to hear variances and special exceptions on residential setbacks, accessory dwelling units, signage, driveway widths, parking/garage design, and several development proposals including an OU-Tulsa campus addition and a mixed-use project on Peoria/30th. Major items included a contested accessory-dwelling-unit (ADU) request in Brynrose (continued for roof-height work), approval for several electronic message center sign enlargements for QuikTrip locations, approval of a 66-foot Route 66 dinosaur monument in Howard Park, and approvals for a number of residential variances and special exceptions. Several neighbors spoke on drainage, tree impacts and neighborhood character; most motions passed with unanimous or near-unanimous votes.
